New Feature Release: Real-Time, Conversational Custom Contact Field Updates

We’ve just rolled out a new feature that gives your Cereba Ai more control and flexibility inside every conversation. Now, you can update both standard and custom contact fields in HighLevel dynamically—as the conversation unfolds. From lead stages to project details, your Ai can push important data directly into GHL without manual input, unlocking better automation and cleaner workflows.

This is one of those updates that instantly makes your Cereba Ai feel smarter, more useful, and more connected to your sales process.

Your Ai can now update any custom contact field in HighLevel—not just the basics like name and email, but fields you define. And the best part? It happens fluidly, in the middle of the conversation, exactly when it makes sense.

Whether you're qualifying leads, capturing project details, or prepping for an appointment, your Ai now has the power to collect key info and push it straight into HighLevel—no forms, no follow-ups, no missed data.

It’s a clean, powerful update that quietly unlocks a whole new level of automation and personalization.

Wait… You Mean It Can Update Any Field in Real-Time?

Exactly. Your Cereba Ai can now update any custom or standard contact field in GoHighLevel, and it can do it organically, during the natural flow of a conversation.

We're not talking about a static form or a pre-built logic tree.

We're talking about dynamic conversation—your Ai qualifying a lead, capturing the right info, and sending that directly into HighLevel without skipping a beat.

So whether your lead tells the Ai they’re ready to move in 30 days, or they casually mention their budget halfway through a DM, your Ai captures it. Processes it. Updates the contact profile. All in real time.

Powered by C.O.R.E.™ Intents

This update is part of our growing library of C.O.R.E.™ Intents—smart, conversational actions that your Ai can take based on how your campaigns are set up.

The new intent is called “Update Contact Fields” and it works with both:

  • Standard fields (like name, email, phone, address)

  • Custom fields (like roof size, service interest, lead stage, or anything else you've added in GHL)

All you need to do is drop in the field key (we’ll show you how to get that below) and tell your Ai what that field represents and how it should update it.

Once set, your Ai is fully capable of listening for the right moment in the conversation and updating the field automatically.

How to Set It Up (Takes 2 Minutes)

Inside your Cereba campaign:

  1. Go to Intents and find “Update Contact Fields”

  2. Add the Field Key from HighLevel
    • In GHL, go to Settings > Custom Fields
    • Click on the field you want to use
    • Copy the value under “Unique Key” (you only need the last part)
  3. Add a description
    • Example: Lead Stage – This field categorizes contacts as hot, warm, or cold based on their readiness to sell.
  4. That’s it. The Ai now knows when and how to update that field.

You can add as many of these as you want for any custom fields you’ve created.

🧠 Fluid Conversation = Smart Updates

One of the most exciting parts? It’s not linear.

The Ai doesn’t wait for a specific moment unless you want it to. It updates the field when the moment naturally happens in the chat. So if someone drops a golden nugget of info halfway through their reply, Cereba can recognize it, tag it, and update your CRM instantly. And if you do want it to update a field at a specific moment (like right after the 4th engagement question), just update your campaign context:

“Once all engagement questions are answered, update the Lead Stage field accordingly.”

Boom. Done. No workflows. No Zapier. No logic branches. Just… conversation.

Real-World Use Case: Lead Staging (Hot, Warm, Cold)

Let’s say you’re qualifying leads to determine how close they are to making a decision. You want your Ai to label them accordingly:

  • Hot = Ready to sell in under 30 days
  • Warm = Open to selling but needs more time
  • Cold = Not ready to sell at all

Your Ai can ask your qualifying questions, determine where that lead falls, and update the Lead Stage field in HighLevel immediately.

Now that info is live and you can:

  • Trigger internal notifications
  • Enroll them into the right nurture campaigns
  • Hand them off to your team
  • Route them based on lifecycle stage

All without touching a thing.

Other Use Cases

This isn’t just for lead qualification. Here are some other ways to use this feature:

  • Roofing companies asking for square footage or roof material
  • Home services collecting address, zip code, or access instructions
  • Coaches tagging lead type (B2B vs. B2C) or interest level
  • Health clinics gathering symptoms or preferred appointment days
  • Real estate agents capturing move-in timelines or pre-approval status

If it’s a custom field in HighLevel, your Ai can fill it in.

Build Automations on Top of It

Once the field is updated, you can create automations inside GHL using triggers like:

  • Field value has changed
  • Field value equals specific terms (e.g. "hot", "cold", etc.)
  • Lifecycle stage updated
  • Any custom logic your campaigns need

This means your Ai isn't just having great conversations—it's driving your workflows automatically.

Available Now in All Plans

This feature is live across all Cereba accounts—no need to upgrade or request access. Just jump into your campaign and start using it today.

Whether you're pre-qualifying leads, preparing them for appointments, or capturing mission-critical details for downstream automation, this new Intent makes your Ai even smarter, more valuable, and more aligned with your sales process.

Final Thought: This Is Why You Use Cereba

You didn’t sign up to build workflows or live inside GHL.

You’re here to convert more, qualify faster, and let your Ai handle the work. This update is Cereba at its best: fluid, powerful, and built to work with your conversation—not against it.

Let your Ai be the one who fills out the form, tags the lead, and triggers the next step—while you focus on closing.
